As a Clinican
Throughout my career, I've worked with individuals and families navigating crisis, major life transitions, and significant stress. Those experiences have reinforced my belief that effective clinical work begins with understanding the broader context of a person's life rather than viewing concerns in isolation.
My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and thoughtful clinical judgment. I look beyond presenting concerns to better understand the experiences, relationships, and environments that have shaped a person's life. While symptom reduction is important, I believe lasting change often comes through developing insight, strengthening relationships, and recognizing the patterns that continue to influence how we move through the world.
Culture, identity, race, and lived experience are integral to understanding the people we work with. These conversations aren't separate from therapy—they're woven into the therapeutic process. I believe they deserve thoughtful attention and create opportunities for deeper understanding, stronger therapeutic relationships, and more responsive care.
